Shimano Highlights Vuelta 2018

The 73th Vuelta a España has come to an end. We have seen brutal fights between the GC contenders until the very last weekend and some very nice stage wins. Let’s have a look at the highlights one more time.

Rohan Dennis

Hardly a surprise, but Dennis showed his class in the time trial, winning the opening stage and the hilly 32km tt after the second rest day.

Thibaut Pinot

What a comeback after this year’s Giro. Pinot joined the club of riders winning stages in all 3 grand tours.

Alessandro De Marchi

Showing off his Dura-Ace C60 Wheels in a nice solo ride to victory.

Elia Viviani

The sprinting machine from Italy was by far the fastest man this Vuelta.

Simon Yates

With the help of his “secret weapon” twin brother Adam Yates, Simon wins his first grand tour. Because of this all the grand tours this year were won on Dura-Ace R9150!
